Outing Policy - North Course

1. Groups:
• To reserve a tee time for the weekdays, weekends, and holiday, you must have at least 24 players.  Outings held between May 1st and September 1st are restricted to an 11:00 a.m. start time.



2. Payment of fees:
• A non-refundable deposit of $250 will be charged to reserve a date.
• All charges incurred during the outing will be paid by 6:00 p.m. the day of the outing.  The $250 deposit will be credited at that time of payment
• One check for the outstanding balance is required.  No individual paying will be allowed.



3. Green Fees for Outing:




All dates prior to Memorial Day and after Labor Day

All dates between Memorial Day and Labor Day
Pass Holders - All Day	$22.00 w/ cart	$22.00 w/ cart
All Others - Before 1pm	$30.00 w/ cart	$33.00 w/ cart

4. Cancellations:
• The signee (event chairperson) shall confirm the number of players and carts at least seven days in advance of the events.  A list of all players participating in the outing will be provided to the golf pro four days in advance.  The event chairperson is responsible for the confirmed number of players and carts will be due by 6:00 p.m. on the day of the outing in the form of a check.
• In the event that inclement weather cancels the event, fees will be refunded.



5. Golf Car Policy:
• The tournament chairperson must furnish us a list of players and car assignments four days in advance.
• All special event cars will be signed for by individual assigned golf cars.  Signee assumes responsibility for any damages incurred.
• You will be charged a full cart for beverages or any other reason extra carts are needed.
• Carts will be issued 15 minutes prior to assigned tee times.
• No shotgun starts on weekends or holidays.
• All players are required to use golf carts (No walkers).



6. Food and Beverages:
• If alcohol is permitted, the outing chairperson will assume responsibility for the group’s actions.
• Outings are allowed to bring their own food.
• NO GLASS CONTAINERS!



7. Dress Code:
• SHIRTS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES!



8. Misc. Information:
• Please make sure your players are aware of the need for speedy play.  The course rangers have the authority to move a slow group so that the golfers in succeeding groups are not delayed an unreasonable amount of time.  Thank you for your cooperation.
• People making the turn have 5 minutes to go to number 10 tee.
• Please be sure you understand these policies before you sign, your signature indicates your agreement and understanding.
• Your interest in our facility is greatly appreciated.  Please plan your event with strict caution to the rules and etiquette associated with the game of golf and the MICHIGAN CITY GOLF COURSE.
