Over the past several years, the Port Authority has spent over $9.5 million on new docks and improvements.
Effective January 1, 1998, all persons renting boat slips, storage racks or storage space from the Michigan City Port Authority and/or Trail Creek Marina must carry liability insurance for no less than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for injury to another person or property of another that might arise from the use or movement of the owner's boat.
Please have your insurance agent mail a certificate of insurance to the Port Authority Office for our files. All slip contracts will be voided if certificate is not received.
