The Improper Way To Place Trash For Collection - Trash Violations
All trash collection violators will receive a letter from the Refuse Department explaining the violation, as well as the corrective action to take.

Only City-issued trash containers may be used for trash collection. This is a violation because no City-issued trash containers have been used. If you wish to dispose of old trash cans you no longer need, simply write “TAKE ME” on the cans and they will be taken along with your trash. |
