We have approximately 200 animals on exhibit at our Zoo, including our collections of mammals, fish, invertebrates, birds and reptiles.

What items are prohibited at the Zoo?
Prohibited items include alcohol, balls, Frisbees, radios, whistles, skateboards, scooters, bicycles, firearms, toy weapons, and bare feet. Outside food and coolers are also prohibited on Zoo grounds.

No, we do not have lockers available on Zoo grounds.

Are my personal pets allowed to visit the Zoo with me?
No. The only animals allowed to accompany visitors are trained and vaccinated service animals

Can we ride our bikes or roller blades while visiting the Zoo?
No, since the Zoo is built on a sand dune there are many steep path ways, therefore it is not safe to allow roller blades to be worn in the zoo.

Can you help me with a school assignment?
We receive many questions from individuals needing help with school projects. We will be glad to assist you if we are able to. You may send your questions or request to the zoo by email, phone or by mail.
