[ARCHIVED] The Snowflake Parade is December 2

The Snowflake Parade will step off from 10th and Franklin Streets at 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 2, 2017. The Snowflake Parade will proceed north on Franklin Street and end at the Michigan City Public Library where there will be a celebration of the lighting of the Christmas Tree and singing of Christmas Carols by the Michigan City High School Choir.
Free hot chocolate and cookies will be served by the Michigan City Fire Department Local 475.
The 2017 Regional Football Champion MCHS Wolves will also be joining the parade this year and the LaPorte County Draft Horse Association will be offering rides after the parade at the Santa House on 7th Street. Santa Claus will also be joining the parade and will greet children at the end of the parade at the Santa House.
A canned food drive will be taking place along the parade route and "Letters to Santa" will also be picked up by volunteers.
