Although most City of Michigan City board meetings are cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 Health Emergency, the Sanitary District Board of Commissioners will hold their meeting on March 25, 2020 at 4:00 pm because it has the sole responsibility to approve all spendings and fundings and adopt policies and procedures for the Sanitary District.

In accordance with temporary rules established by Indiana’s Governor regarding public meetings of local government agencies, the Sanitary District Board Meeting will be conducted via teleconference.

The Meeting will be much shorter than usual because it will only address the items necessary to allow the Sanitary District to function properly (see the March 25, 2020 Sanitary District Board Meeting Agenda), along with an opportunity for public comment via teleconference.

In response to the COVID-19 Health Emergency and the Governor’s most recent orders the public will not be allowed to attend in person. The public can listen to the meeting by calling in on the toll free conference phone line:
