Michigan City Fire Department Special Event/Education Request Form
Thank you for reaching out to your Michigan City Fire Department. As part of our commitment to serving you, we are happy to assist with providing fire and life safety education and community involvement.
All requests must be made at least 30 days in advanced. Department training and any prior commitments will supersede requests. Due to the number of requests, we receive, we may not be able to attend your event. However, if we are unable to fulfill your request, we will notify you by return e-mail.
Our primary mission is to ensure the safety of the residents of Michigan City and the safety of the firefighters. All stations and crews will be in service during your requested event. If an incident occurs that crew will have to respond to make sure we meet the emergency needs of the community first.
Tour requests must be made one month in advanced. Mondays and Fridays are the best days for us to work with as all other days the firefighters are focused on training. We will do our best to work with you on other days, but we cannot make any promises.
